Miriam Quijano

Wardrobe Coordination.

Artistic Direction Assistant

Graduated from the University of the Valley of Mexico in Mexico City, with a degree in Fashion Design and Clothing Industry.
Her professional experience includes wardrobe coordination and assistance in collaboration with the costume house “Trama & Drama, costumes and production”, in various performing arts including theater, musicals, opera.

Among his most outstanding projects are “Hello, Dolly!”, directed by Jason A. Sparks; “The Heart of Matter,” directed by Luis de Tavira; “Good People,” directed by Diego del Río; “The Play That Goes Wrong,” directed by Mark Bell and produced by Próspero Mx; “Cinema 35,” directed by Joe Rendón; “Aunt Mariela,” directed by Francisco Franco for the 2018 Cervantino Festival; and “Waitress,” directed by Abbey O’Brien of Playhouse.

His work also includes operas such as “Otello” directed by Luis Miguel Lombana at the Palace of Fine Arts, “Lucia di Lammermoor” directed by Enrique Singer, “Salsipuedes” directed by Iván Ávila Dueñas at the Bicentennial Cultural Center of the State of Mexico, Texcoco, and “Stiffelio” directed by Daniela Parra at the Palace of Fine Arts.
In recent years, she has participated in costume coordination for productions such as “Suertudotas,” directed by Joaquín Bissner; “El perro del hortelano,” adapted and directed by Angélica Rogel for the National Theater Company; “Medea,” directed by Mauricio García Lozano; “The Merchant of Venice,” directed by David Olguín; “Cirque, musica querida” by Ocesa; the successful musical “Mentiras,” directed by José Manuel López Velarde; “Mamma Mia,” directed by Jason A. Sparks; “Peter Pan, que sale mal,” directed by Adam Meggido; “La señora presidenta,” directed by Vicente Torres; “La vida es mejor cantando,” directed by José Manuel López Velarde; the revival of “La obra que sale mal,” directed by Mark Bell; and “Lobas,” directed by Paula Zelaya Cervantes.
