Hanniel Oyarzabal

A costume designer with a degree in Set Design from the National School of Theatrical Art. He has worked in areas such as design, coordination, production, and costume design for theater productions, including LUN, directed by Jesús "Chucho" Díaz, and Cabaret shows such as Échame a mí la Culpa and No te metas con mi KuKux by the Cabaret de Diez company, among others.

 

As a professional makeup artist, she has ventured into the audiovisual field, focusing her work on editorial and fashion, collaborating with international digital publications and Mexican brands, as well as fashion institutions such as Jannette Klein University; in film for productions such as Casa Chica directed by Lau Charles, a participant in the 75th Berlin International Film Festival in the Berlinale section, where it had its international premiere; in music, for music videos of artists such as Juan Solo or Sophia Warren for Universal Music Mexico; in dance, such as in the piece Destellos by the Mexican dancer and choreographer Diego Vega Solorza, a participant in the FIAC 2024 International Festival of Contemporary Art, in León, Guanajuato; as well as the stage.

 

She has taught workshops on the fundamentals of costume design and theatrical makeup for various public institutions, such as the University Center of Theater of the UNAM in 2024 or the Pohualizcalli Community School of Film and Photography of the Iztapalapa municipality of Mexico City in 2022.
